I drafted 5 stories for this year's 50 Precious Words contest hosted by Vivian Kirkfield. They focused on friendship and belonging and the subjects ranged from skunks to instruments.

Ultimately, I chose to enter BUBBLE MEETS SNOWFLAKE, a story of two unlikely friends meeting in the sky. I found it fitting that I posted this story to Vivian's contest blog as I was boarding an airplane. I didn't spot any bubbles or snowflakes while flying but I imagined them mingling above the clouds.
